New: CPS test v3 and a Test Hub with 8 mouse tests — Try them

How fast can you click?

Pick a length and start clicking. The timer starts on your first click. Lite and Ultra also count double clicks, catch stray right clicks and graph every second of your run.

What your score means

Most people click 6 to 8 times a second normally. Jitter clicking usually gets 10 to 14, butterfly clicking 15 to 25, and drag clicking can pass 25. For 1.8 Minecraft PvP, 10+ CPS is where fights start to feel even.

Your mouse matters too. Some mice can’t register butterfly or drag clicks well at all, like the Razer DeathAdder and the Logitech SUPERSTRIKE. See the best mice for Minecraft.

Why doesn’t right-clicking open a menu here?

The browser’s right-click menu (Inspect, Search, Save as…) is switched off inside the test, so a stray right click can’t interrupt a run. Lite and Ultra also tell you when and how often it happened.

What counts as a double click?

Two clicks registered less than 30 ms apart. One finger can’t click that fast, so it’s either two butterfly fingers landing together or your mouse switch registering one press twice. Lite and Ultra count them for you.

Does the first click count?

Yes. It starts the timer and counts as click one, like most CPS tests.

Why did my run reset?

If you switch tabs or windows mid-run, the browser pauses the page and the timing stops being accurate, so the test starts over instead of giving you a wrong score.

Where are my scores saved?

In this browser. Ultra members can download their full history as a CSV file.
